My name is Naj, and im Trinidadian (and also a vegetarian). I love make up (MAC, Crush Grove,Aveda,and Nixie),singing and guitars, so im an aspiring make up artist (going to school for that soon)and music artist.Im a total hair and body product junkie. Im into natural hair products and natural body products.

From the 3rd grade to June 2005 my hair has been relaxed. Now that im working with a new hair texture, it took some time for me to get reacquainted with my hair.I had to learn what my hair likes, what it doesnt like, how long i can go before my ends need clipping.
I have curly hair, type 3B/3C (BB3 on the blended beauty hair type chart)
Products for african american hair tend to be too heavy for my hair and products for caucasian hair tend to be too drying.So i have to find that perfect medium between the 2,lol.Creams are a huge no no for me. My hair hates it and its too heavy.Instead i opt for lotions,they work best for me. Shampooing my hair is another no no. It's too drying on my hair and loosens my curls. I do a daily or every other day wash with conditioner. At some point im going to start using a cleansing conditioner (conditioners especially formulated to cleans your hair removing product build up and stinky scalp). But until then, i'll continue to use regular conditioner to cleanse my hair ans wash my hair with black soap (the real stuff) once a week.
