(MY RESPONSE)
Well for starters, I must say the reactions I got from others were nothing compared to the reaction I had about myself. I did not realize how much I used to hide behind my hair. It was like it represented me and I was not beautiful with out it and because I was like this others had no choice but to treat me that way. So yeah when I cut it all off I got lots of negative reactions. It has surely been a much needed journey for me. I've had to get to know me beneath the outfits,earrings, long hair and insecuritys .
