Welcome to my page. I have been 100% natural as of July 8, 2008. I only transitioned for three months and could not stand it any longer. I am rather impatient. I went to a beautician for my BC and she cut all the perm off, but that is it. She did not shape it or anything. I had about two inches when I left the salon. I went home looked in the mirror and just started to sing, " I aint gonna cry." But boy did I feel like bawling like a starving 5 month old. I called a friend of mine and off we went to a real barber. I don't think I had a full inch when I walked out of there, but I felt better, because it was shaped half way decent eventhough you talk about short. Baby, I mean short. That first month was something else. I definitely should have waited longer. I could hardly stand looking in the mirror, because that person did not look like me. I was like what have you done. Now I am one with myself again and loving it. Browsing other people's fotki accounts have definitely helped me. I guess I may post pictures one day when I am not too lazy to figure out how.
