- Welcome to my page! I'm a young lady who has been natural since 2001. I've had up and down struggles with my hair. One day, I want to go back to the relaxer; the next, I want to loc my hair, and on the third day, I am just LOVING the 'fro. On March 3, 2007, I finally made the decision to grow some locs, so I'm using this account as a visual journal as I go through the process. So far, I am loving it, but I am definitely open to tips and advice. In fact, just tell me all that you know! :)
More about me: I am a struggling Christian. Struggling in that I am not perfect, but I try to live a God-pleasing life. I am still maturing in Christ and figuring out my own personal way to grow in His love and to strengthen my relationship with Him. All I know now is that God is good, and already, He has done more than I could ever imagine possible.
In the past few years, I have taken up the hobby of salsa dancing. It's fun, and it's my main form of exercise. As science-y/math-y as I wanna be, I do like to engage in creativity. I also like to write. Mainly as a means of the completion of thought, but I have been known to write poetry as well.
