I'm married with three children. I'm in college pursing a Bachelors degree in Physician Assistant. In about 2.5 years I should be graduating from Howard University and working as a physician assistant somewhere.
I decided to go natural for many reasons. My last relaxer was September 29, 2006. I've been happily natural ever since.
Even though I've been on this natural journey for 3 years, I'm still trying to find which products work for my hair--I'm almost there. I have a very dry scalp and a problem with flakiness & dryness. I solved that problem with Kemi Oyl.
If anyone out here in fotki land have any hairstyling and/or moisturizing tips for my hair or just want to say hello, please leave a comment and let me know. I'm not always on here b/c I'm so busy with being a mommy, working on my BS degree, and being a wife, so I just want all of you to know that I thank you ahead of time and if I do not respond individually, I'm sorry. Just know that I'm saying "Thank you" right now.

As of October 16, 2008 my hair is as follows:
Front: 7.5" & 8"
Sides: 7.5"
Middle: 5 1/4" in the sensitive area & 6" in the rest of the middle
Back: 6.5"
~~I did get a trim on June 28, 2008. (Net growth in 8 months is 1.5-2" = 1/4 inch of growth monthly).
As of January 1, 2008 my hair is as follows:
6" in the front
5.5 (L); 6 (R)" on the sides
b/t 3-6 depending on the area in the middle
5.5 (R); 6.5 (L)" in the back
