FAQs

Q: Are you natural/ Did you have to transition/ Did you ever have a relaxer?

A: Yes, I am 100 % natural. I've been natural pretty much all my life up until I got a relaxer in junior highschool. I only got one or two relaxers before I stopped completely because one: I hated the process and two: my mother did them and they didn't get my hair straight. After that I ruined my hair with blowdrying, extensions, and hot combs.

Q: When did you start taking care of your hair and embracing your natural texture? What made you stop flat ironing, blowdrying, using extensions, etc?

A:In the beginning of 2008 I stopped pressing my hair. I knew that my hair was capable of being healthy and beautiful because there was a time when it was. I wanted that head of hair back.

Q: What is your goal length? / What's the longest your hair has ever grown?

A: I don't have a goal length specifically - it tends to change from day to day lol. The longest my hair has ever gotten was underneath my brastrap when straight.
