April '06 was the last time I relaxed my hair but I was unsure if I wanted to cut my hair bald or transition from perm to natural. (Transition won) I wore the same ole' ponytail everyday during my 4 months transition. The ponytail was very tiresome and boring, so I made an appointment with a beautician for my bc. August 4,2006 was the big day. I realized this was the first time in 22 years that I was perm free. AMAZING. Now the journey really begins.
