Hello everyone...
I'm an artist by night, paralegal by day. I have never had a hair album. Didn't even know people did such things! lol.. I have finally learned some new tricks on how to work with what I have from the ladies over at www.naturallycurly.com If it wasn't for them and all the trials they've gone through I would still be struggling with no information on how to deal with my hair. I love it natural, and have been natural for many years, but color damaged my hair and that has kept it from growing very long. This time around I am better prepared, although I am still in a learning phase to say the least.
Did a medium chop Feb. 2008.. am hoping to grow my hair to bra strap length (unstretched) or longer. So I'm in it for the long haul. I'm hoping that by 2010 it will be to my shoulders at least. My hair isn't the fastest growing but now that it's healthy it should be an easier process. I'm determined to let it grow for as long as it can. I hope to never have another major haircut ever again.
2010 update: Well 2010 is here, and I am approaching shoulder length. I guess I'm on schedule, so I'm thinking BSL is 2 years away. Wouldn't it be a bitch if I got my hair where I wanted it and then the world ends? lol That would be just my luck..Here's hoping we all make it to 2013 - at least so I can enjoy having long hair!
