****As far my regimen when my hair is natural...goes as follows****

Regimen
1. Shampoo 1x week with Giovanni 50:50 Hydrating:Calming Shampoo
3. Deep Condition 2x week with Aubrey Organics Honey Suckle Rose & another conditioner mixed in (ie.Neutrogen Triple Moisture, Jessicurl Weekly Deep Treatment, Hairveda Moist 24/7, Aubrey Organic White Camila Condish)
3. Twist-N-Curl set 1-2x a week
4. Aphogee 2 Step Protein Treatment every 6-8 weeks** Essential

If I am not wearing a twist-out, I am either in a bun or wash-go. But I'm trying to stay faithful to my twist-outs, so I won't have to resort to wash n' go's too often. And as of now I'm trying to not straighten until my graduation-- May 17th, 2009!!!<---Mission:FAILED


Straight Natural Hair:

I have gotten a lot better at straightening my hair and getting it like professional stylists do. To achieve straight hair I wash/condition/deep condition, add a heat protectant/moisturizer then I dry overnight in 4 plaits. Next morning...I run thru my hair with the blow dryer QUICKLY. Then i prepare to straighten with a ceramic flat iron. I go through and flat iron each of the 4 sections. Then I wrap my hair, cover with saran )plastic) wrap and sit under the dryer for about 10 minutes (this is called a silk wrap and it helps remove some of bulk of out my hair & make it silkier). After that I take of saran wrap and voila!!
