- I have been natural for 5 years now and have never wanted to wear my own hair out. I've had all types of weaves and braids, you name it. One day it came to me on why is it that I keep spending so much money putting someone elses hair on mine. I should be proud of the way GOD created me. It inspired me to look around for different ways I could wear my own hair out and embrace my naturalness. I have been browsing through Fotki and came across many beautiful natural hair sisters. Looking at the different hairstyles that many of you have created has given me the confidence that I too can be creative with my hair because it is so versatile.
