Shameless Plug

While I have no interest in becoming a professional photographer, I'm certainly eager to expand both my horizons and my "portfolio". If you're in the Nashville area, and would like photos of yourself, or a particular thing or place, let me know. I'm likely to do the shoot for free just for the opportunity to shoot. :)

About my equipment

Most of the photos in here were taken with my Canon EOS Rebel XT 350D. All of these photos will have complete EXIF data available. Currently, I shoot with a Canon EF 75-300 4-5.6 USM zoom lens, and the Canon EFS 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 kit lens that came with the Rebel XT.

I've also had good luck with Quantaray's 70-300mm 4-5.6 zoom w/ Macro. Many of the shots you see in here, particularly those of NHL Hockey, were taken with that lens. It's an exceptional "bang for your buck" lens at only $149, but does tend to be easily damaged, and not very rugged.

Accessories in the bag include Cokin color and effect filters, and Quantaray 58mm screw in magnifiers.

Finally, when necessary I shoot from a QSX 9500 tripod, and carry everything in a Quantaray bag.

The few photos you find without EXIF data were taken with my first "real" camera, a Canon Rebel GII, predominantly using Fuji film. I typically shot it with the Quantaray 70-300mm mentioned above, or the GII's kit lens.
