- All of a sudden, everything came together and led me to this journey. My hairstylist (who I relied on for weekly visits) went on maternity leave and I could not imagine trusting anyone else to put a relaxer in my hair. A close friend decided to go natural and has been traveling this road with me. AND, I found all of the natural sistas on nappturality, motown girl and fotki.
My last relaxer was May 18, 2007.

4-2-08: I love reading Afrobella, a beauty blog that talks about all kinds of issues including natural hair. The post today really spoke to me as I can understand the deep issues and uncertainty that go along with this hair journey. I hope you get something out of it too.

7-12-08: My issue right now is dryness. severe dryness. I can't seem to get my hair moisturized no matter what I do. I am also protein sensitive and my hair hates coconut oil and products with coconut oil. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to let me know. Thanks!
