I drink very seldom. Love a good cigar. No drugs. No cigarettes. I don't gamble. (I don't like risks. Prefer a sure thing.)
I love a good laugh and really love making other people laugh. Humor is important to me.
I am an almost compulsive procrastinator. Never do today that which can be put off till tomorrow. Or even later.
Hate fads and have very little patience with people with short attention spans.
I also love old buildings and houses although I prefer to live in newer places.
I don't think of myself as a "baby boomer" even though I was born into that over-rated era. I am just me. Not a hippie, yuppie, brainiac, techie, nerd, prep, cowboy, redneck, tree hugger, hick, urban sophisticate or elitist. Just a regular guy.
I don't listen much to music and I regard most of today's network television shows as shit. So-called reality TV shows are lower than that. Game shows are even lower. Info-mercials are yet lower. TV and radio commercials are the lowest of the lowest form of crap.
I have no use for the liberal mainstream media.
I totally hate any type of paperwork or record-keeping. I would rather spend ten hours doing something than spend 10 minutes writing it up or documenting it. If I had wanted to be a clerical worker I would have become one.
I tend to think of Political Correctness as the latest attempt to sterilize people's minds and force people to think alike. I won't do something because it is Politically Correct. If I do something it's because I regard it as "the right thing to do" and not because some egg-head, elitist liberal thinks it should be done that way.
For me my job is a living. That's it. I enjoy what I do and it's important but it only goes so far. I am not out to change the world. I just prefer to live my life and let others live theirs.
