Let's see, about March 2005 I decided no more creamy crack. So I started to wear weaves and wigs. My hair was extremly damaged and I felt horrible about not being able to wear my own hair. After about two more months of that, I fell in love with the soft roots and began to contemplate going natural. The only thing is, I HAD NO IDEA HOW TO DO SO! So I ventured online at first looking for sites to explain the locing process "at first". Then I stumbled onto Nappturality.com. This is where I encountered numerous sisters sporting thier God given naps with pride. I Bc's big chopped soon after joining the site and have not looked back since. I encourage sisters who are curious about this process to look within themselves and ponder the reason why they perm. Then come to terms with your decision to perm. The truth is the chemicals are caustic and enventually will cause problems for your health as well as your scalp...... Any questions feel free to ask.
I've been natural for 3 years to date. One year of loose natural bliss and two years of loced love!
