I have been natural since December 1999
In the almost decade of ups and downs with my hair I found a need to cut my hair really often because the density and length of it seemed impossible to handle.
Anyhoo- along with working with Diane Bailey, a well known natural hair care "Goddess" in Brooklyn New York and stalking every hair board for highly textured hair I have come to this point in my journey. I know how to take care of it
Now I want to learn how to style it
and I want to NOT cut my hair and I want to explore all styling options.
I also realize that any Beauty Supply Stores that are within my sight are subject to pillaging by me for hair products- I also like to order online. So now I have a surplus of good information, good products and good technique for my what I call my nappity hair (said with love)
So now I will explore all the options available to me in styling- Ive got twist and cornrows down. Now on to roller setting. French braiding, and Ayurvedic products and concepts and lets see what this hair does in reaction to it. Wish me luck- I'm gonna need it!
