I love to read, exercise and am into overall healthy living. I am into learning about and growing my 4bz hair. I have been natural (4bz) for 5 years. Struggled to gain length on my own for 3 years. Stumbled across BCHM a couple of years ago. My hair grew, but I had see-through ends do to mismanagement of old growth.

Phoenix on BCHM posted about damaged hair. Grudgingly, I learned about what damaged hair really looks like and cut 2" off (February 07)! I was so wanting to keep length for the sake of length. After I cut it my hair is SO MUCH EASIER to manage. This is because the growth that I gained from learning on BCHM is in such great condition.

There are so many incredible women on BCHM whose hair is so beautiful, thick, shiny and healthy. To name a few: Samantha Jones, Ms. Toya, Billy Jean, Ms. Claudie, Wonderstar, Emih, Angie, Pokahantas, Omega, Loveya, Miss Wifey, of course Phoenix. These women are beacons in the African-American community and are such excellent examples that TLC, a little elbow grease and patience pay off big time. Ya'll rock solid.
