Coconut Milk & Lime Q & A

1. Could you please tell me how much of the lime/ coconut milk and honey you use?

A: I add two small limes to a can of Goya Coconut milk. I don’t really measure out the honey. However, I add enough honey until the complete mixture resembles “grease”.

2. Which type of Lekair cholesterol do you use? Your natural hair seems to like a lot of protein, which mine doesn't. Does your hair come out hard or brittle?

A: I use the peach colored “professional” version—not the “salon tested” version.

3. You have a lovely curl pattern. Has the above concoction helped loosen it to it present texture over time or has your curl pattern always been this loose? If the former, how long and how much use did it take before your curl pattern loosened to its present state?

A: Thank you. The concoction bathes my hair in moisture which causes the curls to loosen up. Otherwise my hair is pretty spirally and dense looking. It will shrink up to my collar or higher if it gets too dry. Therefore, I believe to moisture added the more my curls are weighed down and smoothed out.

4. Do you find that frequent application of the coconut milk/ lime dries or weakens your hair?

A: Mixing it with Lekair and honey gives the concoction balance. So my hair never ends up dry or weak.
