I LOVE HAIR! I have had every hair style in the book. (Except locs and a Jerri curl...lol) I appreciate every hairstyle rocked with confidence! I want to document my hair journey and learn more about styling the hair texture God has blessed me with. Through LHCF, youtube, and stalking fotki I have saw the versatility of natural hair. I had tried going natural after I graduated from college and was unsuccesful. I had no idea what I was doing. I had no idea how to style my natural hair. I had my supervisor at my job (at the time) come to me saying that my hair was inappropriate. (The shock! The horror!) Not long after that I tried getting my hair pressed which lasted two days! (It was in the heat of summer at the time.) Shortly after that I was back to the creamy crack. I was so disgusted but I wanted to remain "professional" for my job. I figured I tried going natural and it just wasnt for me. Then in August of '08 I was tired of perming my hair just to cover it up with a wig so I stopped getting a relaxer. Then I became inspired by all the lovely natural styles that kinky curly girls were able to acheive and learned that I could create these styles from youtube. Please share any tips for my 4a/b hair (I think that's my texture).
