I took a short break from fotki for the winter. I've been dealing with the trials of life but that hasnt meant I haven't been doing my hair lol

I'm going to be updating this over the next few days to show you all some of the things I've been doing with my hair.

I've been loc-free for 7 months now and I am loving it. My hair is growing stronger and healthier and I'm working on new ideas and products and have found a great regimen. I still play with color and extensions are big for me. I'm loving the freedom of it.

I've also begun to do hair as a side gig. I've encountered WAY too many women who simply do not know how to care for their natural hair, style it, maintain it, etc and they are willing to shell out hundreds at fancy salons when they don't have to. I believe in teaching people to fish rather than fish. I want to help women get on the path to learning how to care for their own hair. But since women love getting their "hair did" (lol) I want to help with that too. I do braids, locs, twists, various extension styles, whatever basically.
