Why did I go natural ?
Because I was tired of the hair breakage and having an extra dry scalp along with extra dry hair. Also, I did not want my daughter to grow up thinking that something is wrong with her hair. The only way that I can show her how to appreciate what God gave to her, is for me to show my appreciation for what God has given me....kinky hair!
I transitioned for six months with the aid of kinky twists and weave. I did my BC on August 20, 2008, and I am in LOVE with my hair! I am also a product junkie and I will get in the kitchen and try homemade recipes all in the name of having healthy hair.
