 | By now you know that not only am I natural, I am loc'ing! My journey to natural hair has definitely changed my life. I now use all natural health and beauty products (deodorant, soap, lotion, etc), I take my vitamins more consistently, and I am trying to get back on track with exercising regularly. It was a gradual process and I never thought I could do it but honestly, at this point, I can't imagine my life any other way!
I wash my tresses with Nubian Heritage Coconut and Papaya Shampoo. I then use their Coconut and Papaya Conditioner (I love their Coconut and Papaya bar soap as well).
To retwist my locs, I use (can you guess it?) Nubian Heritage Coconut and Papaya Hair Butter which has coconut oil, shea butter, vitamin E, papaya extract, rosemary extract, aloe vera gel, cocoa butter, jojoba oil, and sunflower oil (doesn't that sound yummy?). I bought a half ounce of peppermint oil and added a drop to this yummy mixture. Peppermint oil stimulates hair growth and my locs absolutely LOVE this tingling sensation! After I sit under the dryer and I remove the clips, my locs are good to go!
