Through going natural I've learned to:

* Follow my heart & act in accordance to what pleases me not the world
* Stand in the face of adversity & take things head on
* Be an indivdual 24/7 & not to conform for the sake of fitting in
* Love myself even when noses are upturned & frowns are shot my way

I guess I never realized that me going natural wasn't simply about regaining a healthy mane; it was about me growing as an individual to a point where I was comfortable "doing me" when it completely went against what I'd been defined as.

I LOVE my naps! They saved me from myself :)
