 | Hey there and thank you for visiting my Hair Album. The purpose of this album is to document my hair journey from unhealthy to healthy and natural to relaxed.
Here's a little of my Hair History:
I got my first perm at age nine and everything went downhill from there. My hair never recovered until I made the decision in 2005 at the age of nineteen to go natural (more about that later). So I cut off most of my permed ends to about ear length and began my journey into the unknown.
I recently made the decision to relax my hair and I am loving my straight hair. The invaluable lessons I learned while natural are even more precious now that I am permed. I thank all the wonderful ladies on the online forums that helped me understand how to care for my hair and continue to encourage and inspire me throughout my journey.
