Fotki is the sh*t! This is the only place (that I know of), that a whole heap of loc wearers and naturals can come and share their journey of their hair. I LOVE IT! I've come across some inspiring profiles alike, and I must say I love the positivity thats spread through out!


Well as far as my hair regime...I normally don't do anything to it except wrap it up at night...But here's what I use when I wash my hair or feel the need to give it a little boost in the sheen department!

To wash I may use a few different shampoo's or conditioners. I like to use Dr. Bonners' Eucalyptus and as a conditioner I use Biolage hydrathérapie (in which sometimes I'll use the shampoo as well), I also use John Masters Organics zinc&sage shampoo w/ conditioner (when I'm feeling lazy). I normally dilate my shampoo in one of those dye bottles (with a wide spout) that you can get from Sally's. I normally would wash my hair whenever it gets rather itchy which might be once every 3 weeks and along with that I always retwist (in which I think I just might lay off of the retwisting)
To retwist I always use aloe vera gel, and I may sometimes mix it with Aveda Flax seed and aloe gel; but I only use a little bit.
To keep it nice and mwoist lol, I just use Jamaican Mango and Lime island oil, or Sulfer 8 Loc twist and braid oil.

I open to any new methods or any new products PLEASSSEEE SHAREEE! There's never enough info when it comes down to hair...I'm obsessed!
