Welcome to my library… part of it, anyway.  My name’s James, and I've been taking scenic picutres since I was a kid.  My interest in event photography began in 1994, I started carrying a cheapo point-and-shoot camera to the science fiction conventions, and I’ve been addicted to photographing various con attendees, guests, and bands ever since.  The point-and-shoot gave way to a Canon Rebel XS which was retired in favor of a Canon Powershot G1. Just recently, I moved up to a Powershot G5.  My addiction’s grown to the point that I’ve taken over a thousand pictures at a single convention.  Since so many people have been kind enough to pose for me over the years, it’s only fair for me to start posting the pics where they can see them.

            In 2003, I started expanded my portfolio to include location and studio shoots. Despite having a separate full-time job, I make time in my schedule to take pictures for web content and advertising for friends. My goal is to expand my photography into a side business.   Enjoy!
