Since finding LHCF and seeing so many black women reaching lengths that were speculated to be nearly impossible for us to obtain, I have become inspired to establish and reach my own hair goals. Most of my life, I've been somewhere above shoulder length. And after being on LHCF, I'm finally hitting shoulder length and look forward to one day hitting APL and beyond.

My Regimen

I very rarely use direct heat....

Once a week-
Wash with CON(green), Deep Condition with heat on damp hair with ORS replenishing for ~30min, Moisturize with NTM leave in, a dab of ORS moisturizing lotion, and sealed with castor oil or jojoba

If rollersetting-
wash, cond, allow hair to drip dry, apply NTM leave in and serum, keep hair wet with water in a spray bottle, dry hair under hooded dryer, (optional-saran wrap), finger comb, and seal with jojoba oil.

While in braids-
Wash and Deep Condition as usual with diluted CON and ORS replenishing every week-two weeks. Allow to dry in towel. Spray braids and scalp with 50/50 mix of infusium(original formula) and African Pride braid sheen spray. Seal with castor oil.
Daily-spray hair with 50/50 mix of infusium and braid spray
Occasionally-Oil scalp with Jojoba/tea tree oil mix.
...I leave my braids in for about 6 weeks and if in need of a relaxer, wait at least 2-3 weeks, co washing about 2x a week in addition to the weekly deep conditioning and doing protective styles to avoid manipulation. Occassionally, I may also use the coconut milk mixture posted on the hair recipes forum to increase manageability.

Relax-
Every 10-12 weeks with ORS lye
