- I must admit that this is my 3rd attempt to go natural and I am determined to make a permanent switch this time. The last two times I've tried, I didn't have any support or encouragement from friends and family. Therefore, I reluctantly gave up.
Sometime last year (2007), a good friend of mine decided that she was never going to get a chemical relaxer again. Of course, I agreed after complaining about the scalp damage from the harsh chemical relaxers. Mind you, I have super duper thick hair and a sensitive scalp...bad combination for any professional hair stylist.
It's now been about 4 mos and I am contemplating the "Big Chop". I'll take any advice on hair care and products for my hair type (just think thick). - General Information
