Hey yall ! I have finally setup my own fotki. I feel grown! :) But just share a lil about me... I was born an raised in Houston, Tx. Eventually I moved to Irving, Tx, which is right outside of Dallas. I decided to go natural in the fall of 2006. And at that time I began to focus on tring to love myself just as I am... the way God made me, complete and all together lovely. So that was the purpose. Ok but when I told close friends and family ..they didn't get the purpose or my vision... I really didn't feel the love. So I transitioned for about 7 months. The big chop for me happen Thanksgiving of 2006. Well after 7 months the chop really wasn't that big but was very freeing! It freed me from what I thought at the time was beauty. Now the chop was only the beginning of my journey. As I went on so much changed as far as my outlook of my life and how I viewed myself. I had a afro, yal! And some sista's and brothers can be so vocal about their opinions. People said all kinds of stuff about me. After the chop I was very self consious. I didn't have the usual avenues of beauty that I use to use. No weaves, no makeup, couldn't put my hair in a ponytail.. Ok yal even pink oil wasn't even gettin it! It was reality. Me, the way God made me. I remembered my purpose and went on! The more I looked in the mirror the more I agree with what God says about me. I am all together lovely and I'm sure that if you looked in the mirror you would see that you are too. Um in the begining i didn't take alot of pics though .. sorry. :) But I hope that you would enjoy my album and began to wonder what God says about you and in the end agree with Him. Please would allow me to share a little wisdom with you ,don't look to the media or your friends to tell you what beauty is. They don't know! Look within yourself for the good things God placed in you and seek God. My sista, My brother we are all together lovely. :) Be blessed
