I honestly never used to care about my hair. All I used was gel, bobby pins, and weave ponytails. I washed my hair once every couple of weeks and used fine tooth combs. When I noticed how broken off my hair was, I decided to start taking care of my hair. Now after joining BHM, I know that even then, I was further destroying my hair (with mineral oil & petroleum, and using direct heat everyday). Now I'm on a journey to recovery and I'm tracking my progress. I'm still new to this so any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for reading and all friends/comments are welcomed!!!
