2011 UPDATE!!!!! Georgia-Mami

Update June 2010(once a week):

1.Hot oil treatment with coconut oil(10-15mins)
2.Baking soda conditioner wash(with acv and garlic mixed in)
or conditioner wash
3.Protein treatment (eggs and protein conditioner)
4.Deep treatment w/ Giovanni deep moisture conditioner with acv and garlic powder mixed in (30mins-1hr) with hooded dryer or w/o
5.Rinse with cold water
6.Moisturize and seal with coconut oil
7.Band my hair or ponytail cheat set(big gray rollers)
7. Style with hairzings or chopsticks
8. Spray bottle = water, conditioner(Giovanni and protein conditioner) to slick edges

p.s I haven't had dandruff with this method so far and I might stick to the hot oil treatment(I think that's what stopped my dandruff), conditioner concoction, protein treatment until feel my hair getting really strong then stop but if I ever feel it getting weak then I will start again, deep cond (always), I will band or cheat set until fall and winter time then I will do something else.

Hair type 4a/3c, texture 4a/3c:

Top front:idk....3C?? (looks like it cuz of my transition)
Temples:4A
Crown: highly textured 4a or 3c frizzy and very dry..defined but not to defined
Back: 4A, left-side: not that defined near the top but half way down defined and right-side: the crown part not really defined well but the rest is really defined
Nape area: 3C

* Last Relaxer was May 21,2008
I'm a long transitioner ..going for 2yrs and 6 months or 3yrs(depends)
right now its been a 1year and almost 2 months(July 25th right now)
I straighten my hair 3x's out of the year
Hair Regimen:
1. Shampoo every other week
2. Condition every week
3. Egg mask for protein when needed
4. AVC /baking soda shampoo when dandruff appears(or build up)
5. DC when needed
6. Moisturize with tea trea shea butter lotion from ORS
7. Heat protector is TRESemme Thermal Creations (looove it)
8. Seal with coconut oil
9. I trim *whenever I feel like it*, I search and destroy most of the time
10. Co-wash with Aussie Moist, V05 when I do braid outs
11. I use Coconut Oil when I straighten my hair (keeps it from reverting so fast)

Staples:
Shampoo: Creme of Nature *Green Label*
Conditioner: Aussie Moist, V05
Deep Conditioner: Organic Root Stimulator pak and bottle
Moisturizer: shea butter, organic tea tree oil and shea butter lotion
Sealant: coconut oil
Clarifying shampoo: Baking Soda
Dandruff Shampoo: --haven't found one yet (I use Selsun Blue*medicated* right now *not loving it)
