- I opened this album to document the progress I am making and things I have discovered as I learn how to properly take care of my own hair. So far, this journey has been amazing!
My last relaxer was in May 2007. I cut off all the relaxed hair in July 2007 then maintained a short afro for the first year before finally deciding to start allowing my hair to grow back around August 2008.
Since January 2009, I have primarily been using herbal hair care to maintain my hair and am still working on simplifying the whole process.
