--Disclaimer--
What I do works for ME. (And some things that don't work for me) Some of the practices I use may not me suitable for your hair. Some of the things I do are not good for my own hair, but I do it anyway. Sometimes I relax after 5 weeks, sometimes I flat iron too often and end up having to trim. With that said, take what you need from my regimen and any other regimen, and make it work for you. This hair thing is not one size fits all. You have to tailor a regimen and products for your own individual lifestyle and hair type.

I FINALLY FOUND MY STAPLE REGIMEN!!!! AFTER 18 MONTHS HERE IT IS…

-Shampoo AT LEAST WEEKLY with Mizani Botanifying Shampoo mixed with CW Tingling Shampoo
-Deep Conditon ONCE A WEEK with Mizani Moisturefuse mixed with Aphogee 2 Min and CW Tingling Conditioner
-Occasionally I will use Duo Tex Protien Conditioner when I need some hard protein
-I apply a dime to nickel sized amount of either Lacio Lacio or BBD Stretch Growth Crème and distribute it through all of my hair.
-I then set my hair in one of a few ways using distilled water in a spray bottle and BB Foam Wrap Setting Lotion:
-- Rollerset
-- Rollerset then wrap
--Wet wrap, airdry overnight, then flat iron (At my own risk, usually if I flat iron, I wash and DC my hair again the next day then rollerset because my hair is usually really dry and oily by the next day. I don’t do this more than once a month because I see wayyyyy too many splits if I do.

I don’t blowdry

I trim when needed, if I see a lot of splits, or if I’m just itching for blunt ends, I’ll dust. It balances out to about once every 3 months.

I always sleep in a satin scarf or bonnet. ALWAYS.

I don’t moisturize daily, because my hair is fine, it weighs it down. My hair usually doesen’t feel dry with a rollerset until the 7th or 8th day. If I put anything on my hair between washes, it’s usually Virgin Coconut Oil, or Just some Oil Sheen, but if it starts to feel dry, I know it’s time to wash and Condition again. I don’t let my hair dry out.

I relax when my hair tells me it's time (usually between 7-12 weeks) depending on how much new growth I have. I relax with Mizani Mild.

My hair texture (4b; FINE) cannot handle direct heat on a regular basis like some hair types. If I flat iron/blow dry more than once in a month, I will see damage to my ends almost immediately.

My goal is to reach at least BSL. My hair has never been full SL in my life.

--------------WHAT I DID TO BRING MY HAIR BACK FROM AN OVERPROCESSED STATE-------------

In June 2008 I relaxed my hair with a No-Lye Relaxer and left it in entirely too long. (See Month 10 album) My hair was in really bad shape and on the brink of disaster. I thought that I may have to do another big chop, but I decided to try to bring it back this time.

1. I started co-washing every day/every other day with a protein conditioner.
2. I airdryed my hair religiously
3. I used wet styles, rollersets, braidouts and faux buns, braids, any style where you’re not combing every day.
4. No Direct Heat No Blowfrying, No Fry Ironing Damaged hair!!! (Even though I used it occasionally, for best results DON’T!)
