- What is HairVeda?
Veda (Vaydah) means knowledge.
I've taken my kowledge of Indian hair care methods and created my own signature products.
I use the Ayurvedic haircare way. Ayurveda means science of life. I use natural oils, made to order, fresh. Shikakai soap cleansers, are my favorite, all which are renowned for aiding hair growth. I also love creams and butters to coat my natural hair and give it the curl definition it needs.
I'm the owner, and creative mind behind HairVeda. I wanted to open the door to a new way to experince haircare.
Carefully studying the ancient rituals of haircare, I found something that has always been in front of me: The secrets of the Ayurvedic hair care methods.
Indian culture has always been a interest of mine. In 1998 I delved into Indian culture, learning the beauty rituals of the Indian women. The Indian women took me into their fold and taught me how to properly maintain hair. They taught me well and with my new found knowledge I began to study the scientific pronciples behind the techniques.
Almost 10 years later, after intese study & trial, I have decided to make some of my Ayurvedic products available to other women who suffer from lack of moisture, shine and overall hair health.
