I was never attached to the Lye. You can say I was never a firm believer of the Lye. So I wasn't surprised that by my sophomore year of college after 6 years of relaxing, I decided to let my hair just be. I rocked headwraps for about 2 years and finally after my last final my junior year, I cut off what was left of the relaxer and have been free ever since.

My journey hasn't always been smooth. I've had some set backs and some serious moments of frustration. You can say that I'm in a new place and am starting a new season with my hair and so far so good. Please feel free to travel down this road with me, I'd love the company.
