 | I'm natural, my last relaxer was May 2006. I had the big cut Jan. 2007 and began wearing a "teeny weeny fro". I wish I'd taken pictures of me last year, but I wasn't as confident in my new look. I had to grow into it.
Sept. 07, I colored my hair Cherrywood. I think it was around Oct. 07 that I began to really like my style and my new color, but wanted to loosen the curl pattern a little bit to combat the vast shrinkage and tried a curly solution that changed my hair.
My hair went from a tight coil to straight ends. I am no longer able to wash and wear a tight fro. The ends look as though there might be a little relaxer left. Which I know isn't true because I've visited the barber a few times for shape ups to make sure there was none left.
So, now to acheive my afro style, I conditon/moisturize my scalp and hair with Coconut Oil, braid the hair in sections and use foam rollers to roll the ends of the hair.
My hair is currently approximately 3 inches long. I'm here for knowledge and I hope to achieve natural, healthy, shoulder length by Summer 08.
