I currently reside in the Dallas Suburbs, Texas from a recent move here in Feb, 2008 from Chicago Suburbs in Illinois.

About My Hair:
Well April 2, 2005 I had stopped getting relaxer and transitioned to become completely au Natural. On July 13, 2005 I finally did the BC and removed all my relaxed ends. I took the journey of discovering what the true nature of my hair was, texture, how to care for it & so much more over a course of 14 months.

Recently...
After looking thru several fotki members albums majority them being nautral themselve and a few who were relaxed, I came across one in particular that Sparked a NEW Flame! I was yearning to become relaxed agian. Of course I was nervous & debatin if I should give up 14 months of being Au Natural. Thanks to the ispiration of *Reneice-Weave Specialist* and many others on June 2, 2006 I finally made the decision to go back to relaxers. I currently use ORS Olive Oil Relaxer and will be following Reneice's Weave Regimen...

NEW YEAR 2007
Well, FINALLY ONCE & FOR ALL I thought I made the decision to go back to being Au Natural. My hair was healthy while it was relaxed but do to the fact someone accidentally cut a section of my hair to about 1/2 inch on my left side I was forced in a way into deciding to go back natural. And I missed my curls and waves.

Also the Biggest GIFT I will be receiving is the birth of My baby girl in August 2007!

***Currently 2008****
I am FINALLY back to relaxing again and use Elasta QP Lye Relaxer system for fine hair & I love it. I appreciate the hair journey I’ve endured despite the many setbacks it has allowed me to really learn about my air. After returning back to a relaxer in Nov 07 and cut of damaged or scraggley end in Dec 07 my hair is now CBL (collar bone) as of July 2008. My end of year goal is to be APL (armpit length). I know I can reach this goal which is about 3.5-4.5 of growth I need to grown and retain.
