UPDATE Numero DOS:
In July 2007 I moved back to expand on my ESL/Basic Spanish classes and get more experience running my own B.I., making that 21 of the last 30 months that i lived in La Republica Dominica!!!!

God blessed me to follow my dream and attain it. I finally speak very well, but the journey is not done - I learned it will take a lifetime to "perfect", as I am still learning new words in my native English!!

I stayed for 10+ months and have just returned to NYC the end of May 2008. I am sorely missing speaking my español cada y me hacen falta la Salsa, Merengue y Bachata. Although I am happy to be in Queens around my native Soca and Calypso music from Trinidad and Tobago.

Born in '80, rappin' since '87, I recently left my hometown of QUEENS, NYC (Nov. 2005)to move to The Dominican Republic (Sosua) and learn Spanish on my own. I also taught myself for about year in NYC before going.~~~~~~

After 6 months, was back in NYC with a certification for Intermediate level spanish (7.5 on 1-10 scale) and much more ESL English teaching experience than when i left.
Also being a financial office worker with EMT-B (Ambulance Medic)certs, you could say I'm doing pretty good.~~~~~~

But the most important thing I'm doing of course... dropping my next album in my TRUE profession... HIP-HOP~~~~~~

Those in Queens can check out my videos on Time Warner Cable, QPTV (Channels 34-36) on Wed. at 4pm, and on Thur. at 11am.~~~~~~

UPDATE # 1: In September of 2006, i returned to the Dominican Republic to work for myself giving private lessons in English (up to advanced) and also <gasp!> Spanish (up to intermediate). My classes spread word of mouth (I guess job well done?) and in less than 2 months i went from 0 to 20+ students. Praise God, life is good for now. Keep your eye out for that NEW Shaun CR NARI project...
