Hi guyz! Thanks for stopping by! This should be a VERY interesting experience! After looking through so many informative and inspirational albums at nappturality.com I decided to give it a go myself. Let me give you my quick history:

This is my second time around going natural and let me tell you, actually having a clue of what you are getting yourself into makes a world of difference! I had no idea what I was doing but knew that my hair was over processed and I was fed up. After I cut off all relaxed ends and grew my hair out natural I treated it the same as I had my relaxed hair because I din't know any better. Funny,huh? I am from the DEEP south where at that time no one was going natural and there were no stylist who knew how to work with natural hair either. So to make a LONG story short I lasted 18months and permed my hair out of frustration on a whim which I likid fore maybe 1 week and then regretted for the next 3 years later until i decided to go natural again and for good. THis time around i discovered nappturality.com, motowngirl.com, discovered countless albums, and also bought books about natural hair care. Educating myself made a world of difference and even my family who initially has reservations about me going natural again, has commented on how different and better my experience has been this second time around!

I would like to give a special thanks out to all the naturals at nappturality.com who have served as inspirations as I embark on this journey!

I don't know how helpful my journal will be to others but all I can do is try! I appreciate all feedback so feel free to sign my guestbook, leave comments, let me know you were here! Enjoy!



P.S. Seems like lately a lot of people have been giving up or giving in on this nautral thing. Everyone is entitled to do what they want but please drop me a line if you are at that cross roads......sometimes relaxing doesn't fix everything...soemtimes you regret it, trust me, been there and done that!
