I was born In Germany, but grew up mostly in Savannah, Georgia. I graduated Windsor Forest High School in 1998 where I did not fit in at all. I refused to fit into the stereotypical box of a "Black girl" and spent most of those years as a floater, associate, or in school friend ONLY! By the time I got to Senior year I found my niche' with others who loved and were into their own cultures as well as others... and who also REFUSED to be told what, who, and how they should be! (Big shout out to Paola & Ngina).
I hated Savannah, and NEVER thought for a second I would end up back here. I went to college got a couple of degree's (CAU, ASU,& UWF) and didn't live in Savannah or even come to visit for more than 5 days for 7-8 years! After completing, my Master's Degree at the University of West Florida in Counseling Psychology I moved back to my home state. First to Atlanta (May 2005) and then back home to Savannah (September 2005).
Since being back I reconnected with a few friends I lost along the way. I am desperately, trying to maintain the new friends I have picked up. I love you Pebbles & Quinne =-) But, since moving back I must admit I don't do much... I am so boring I might as well be saddled down with 5 kids! I am trying to get out there and meet people, but it's hard I am out here all alone and I haven't been here 2 weeks yet!
Ok, so I am in Durham, NC now I just completed training, and am now a professionally trained killer =-P I am an offical Federal Law Enforcement Officer. I am loving the job, not so much my boss and am looking forward to getting a promotion to Lexington Kentucky for a GS-11 position. Cross your fingers!
