Going natural was the best thing for myself EVER. I feel healthy, free, and more beautiful in my natural state. I love the uniqueness my natural hair gives me, I love washing (cowash) my hair everyday, I love my texture (4a), I love ME!!!!!!! Doing my hair is a breeze everyday! No more long hours to achieve a style!! Unless I want twists or something, but naturally my hair is styled by God! All I do is wash and go! I am so happy! Even my bedhead look is fierce! I love my hair :)

I BC'd on January 3, 2009 at 9 months post relaxer. Ahhh what the heck. It's a new year so why not, I needed a fresh start. It was the best thing I've done to my hair. Now, my journey begins. :)

Update- 12.18.2009- My hair is now SL and I am so proud of myself. I am still transitioning, going on 9 months post relaxer. I'm really starting to understand my hair. I'm pretty sure I have type 4 hair but we'll see when I'm completely natural. I may, JUST MAY, hold off a bit on chopping. I am liking my hair's length. It's much easier to style now it's longer. Now my hair's at SL I'm wearing it up more. I don't want anyone to see my length really. Hopefully, if I don't BC before December 2009, I'll be close to BSL. In 2010 I'll definitely be natural :)

Currently working on the overall condition of my hair.
My ultimate goal is stronger, fuller hair, healthier natural hair. I have made the decision to transition on June 14, 2008. My last relaxer was April 10, 2008. Thanks for all the support, I appreciate it :)
