- Well, I finally have a fotki, and I am so excited. The sisters on fotki have been my inspiration to go natural since 10/2007!!! I love seeing all the natural beauty!! Just a little about me: I have lived in Texas my whole life, but my mother is Kenyan and my dad Ghanian, so I am very familiar with my african culture. I am a nurse and a proud mother of a 5 year old girl.
My last relaxer was August 11, 2007 and my BC on May 3, 2008-- I have never looked back since. I am loving every day of this journey and the new things I learn everyday. I don't really have any routines, I just listen to my hair and play around with styles.
