***************************** 2011 GOAL***************************






UNFORTUNATLY I HAVE NO UPDATES FOR 2010..I'M PLANNING ON UPDATING JULY OF 2011....I'M SATISFIED WITH THE LENGTH AND THICKNESS OF MY HAIR...THIS IS THE LONGEST MY HAIR HAS EVER BEEN IN MY LIFE....SO..MY NEW GOAL IS WORKING ON GETTING OFF SOME INCHES AND POUNDS..BEFORE I KNEW HOW TO GROW MY HAIR LONG I THOUGHT THAT WAS A CHALLENGE..BUT...LOSING WEIGHT IS EVEN MORE CHALLENGING!..................I HAVEN'T MADE THE PROGRESS I THOUGHT I'D MAKE THIS YEAR WITH MY WEIGHT......BUT THAT'S OK.............................IT MAY TAKE LONGER THAN I'D ORIGINALLY PLANNED .....BUT I WILL BE AS SUCCESSFUL WITH MY WEIGHT AS I'VE BEEN WITH MY HAIR!...MY NEXT UPDATES WILL BE AT THE END OF JULY IN 2011!


********I've never been to a hair salon and I haven't cut, trimmed or dusted my ends since I began using Cathy Howse methods Jan 1st 2008...I never thought I could accomplish this kind of hair growth on my own!..My hair is so much healthier, thicker and longer than it was two years ago....So, my main goal for this year is to just maintain the health of my hair....While getting a healthier, slimmer me:).....If I do retain more length then that'll be an added bonus!:)*******


~ Details Of My Hair Regimen Is In my Journal ~

I wear my hair loose everyday...Unless I'm working out or I just want to put it up off my back while I'm at home...Below is what I do for maintence for my texlaxed hair....

*(My Mandatory) Shampoo / Deep Conditoning 2x a week*....NTM Shampoo and I Deep Condition with Cathy Howse Deep Condtioner after I DC with Cathy's Conditioner...I do a moisturizing Condition with NTM Hair Mask...*

* Moisturizing 2x's A Day* With Cathy Howse Dew..Then at night I moisturize with her Creme Lotion Moisturizer...Cathy Howse Leave In Dew And her Creme Lotion are the only moisturizing products that I use on my hair..Nothing else!*

* (Co-wash Daily) * With the exception of the one day a week when I Shampoo and Deep Condition..I Co-wash with Neutrogena Triple Moisture Daily Deep Conditioner....( Leaves My Hair Feeling Amazing Everyday!!!)..:)

* I wear my hair down everytime I go out....I never do protective styles b/c Cathy Howse says you should be able to wear your hair anyway you want and it still grow..So, I wanted to put that to the test..So for a year while using her products I wore my hair down..And, It still grew!.....I wear my hair up sometimes if I'm loungin around the house but otherwise I wear it loose*

* I flat iron my hair like once or twice a year...Now that I know how to properly take care of my hair..And the fact that it is healthier I no longer have to use heat to keep it straight...I've found out how to keep it straight without the use of any heat appliances*

* I take a Multivitamin and,...I also.....Exercise 6 Days out of the week and drink plenty of water & Green Tea *

*The other products that I use other than Cathy's Products...Neutrogena Triple Moisture Shampoo, Neutrogena Triple Moisture Daily Deep Conditioner, Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Hair Mask. And That's it!:)
