A almost LIVE WEBCAM, DECKCAM of VANCOUVER CITY started May 10, 2005 and usually working well.
http://www.numinous.ca/WebcamPage.htm The camera is a Olympus C-7000Z digital resolution set to 1024x768 at a 2:1 compression for the Web Cam refreshes at 720 seconds during the day and 1800 seconds at night.
..............................................................................
These are my own digital photographic images; about 10,000 images, plus 8100 web cam images, taken over the last few years with various digital and Polaroid SX-70 cameras, starting with a Polaroid PDC 2000 in 1997,to 1999, and continuing with Nikon's 950,990,995, 5700, and 8700 and recently with a Olympus 7000Z digital camera, the Paris 2003 images. Reworked Polaroid SX-70 images, from mid 1995 to 1997 are posted as well. Now mostly shooting with a Canon EOS40D, September 07,and on the last 2005-6 shooting mainly with the Canon Digital Rebel, it does a good job. Now in 2007 shooting with new camera, Canon EOS 40D and all in RAW format. The Canon Rebel 300, has now been permanently converted to an infrared camera. This summer, 2007 I acquired a Leica D-LUX 3 that really shines in performance, if balanced against size and weight, again, I prefer to shoot everything in RAW format, but I may get over this, in time. The digital Camera, for the web site, web cam page, is an Olympus C-7000Z seemed quite good, operated for two years, this seems to me to be quite a feat, being that the camera is outside. It has been replaced by it's twin, another C-7000Z. , May 2007. See my web cam page at this URL ;
http://www.numinous.ca/WebcamPage.htm Living one day at a time I am attempting to bring out the mystery of the fullness of my world, as it has been shown to me, with this new medium of numerique (digital) photography and with a clarity, intuition, and creativity that I have rarely experienced before, in my life and my career as a big city Newspaper photographer, or as a professional commercial photographer.
Being a retired/disabled photographer with a couple of human diseases, that have opened up in me a new spiritual way of seeing our given realities. The new medium of digital photography has given this photographer the experience and the feeling, something like what an artist must have felt, when one moves from a few pencils to full palette of oils. A whole new way of seeing and creating, and for that, I am, truly grateful.
Hope you can drop by a see one one the top cities in the world, Vancouver, Canada. where I was lucky enough to be born, so bye for now, and First Things First,
Peace........

SOME INFO REGARDING COPYRIGHT MARKED IMAGES, .
as stated by a viewer, "The large copyright logo takes away from the image."
Well that was the POINT.
That was so true, and at the time I created these images starting digitally in 1995 or 96, at least twelve years ago that this copyright stuff and the value of photography overall, others as well as my own, seemed to have a value much higher than that of today, lets face it due to the ease of access and quality of the cameras, general photography has next to no value anymore. Materialism and ego was much more important to me, but lets face it, living as a recovering cancer patient, this long, and being away, from the " top Commercial Aerial Photographer in the country" handle, all this ego stuff and making a living from my photography, has gone down the road a way, I hope, usually I can see my own ignorance and just plain dumbness, fairly quickly.
I have 25,000 images up on the net, on another Image Server; mostly from the webcam and If I ever have the desire to fish out those100's of CDs for the original created work, somebody, is going to have to inspire me to do that by making a donation to Cancer Research, after all that is the POINT here originally, to mark the work up so it was not usable.
If you want it clean, DONATE FUNDS to RESEARCH, and I will find you a clean file at size, Recently I have made a decision to revisit those early image files, and rework them.
