I have recently learned that everyone is not going to respect your hair. This beloved is much different from them LIKING your hair. People who don't respect your hair will do hurtful things to your hair under the guise of ignorance and will not accept sound wisdom when it comes to proper hair care.
Beloved promise yourself this:
1) I will not allow anyone who does not have natural hair or who has not been properly trained (to work on natural hair) to touch my hair.
2) If I do allow someone who doesn't fit the above criteria to work on my hair, I will be diligent to make sure they handle my hair properly or I will get up and leave.
3) I will never ever ever again allow someone to pull a comb through my head and rape my ends.
4) If a stylist can't tell the difference between well moisturized hair with kinky ends and that of dry hair, then she should not be working in my head.
5) I will never again sacrifice health of my hair for style. This means, no too tight braids, no extending washes/rinses to longer than a week, no prolonged repetitive heat! - General Information
