i'm a little slow getting my recent pics up, because summer is crazy, as usual, for me :)

Anyway, here's my hairstory, enjoy :)

Around June 24,2009 I received my last relaxer. What began as a financial experiment to stretch the time before my next salon visit, eventually developed into my [informal] five month transition period to natural hair.

***i call it [informal] because it was :::not::: planned and during this time I did :::not::: make ANY efforts to learn about my natural hair texture or techniques to take care of it. I simply went approximately 5 months without getting a touch-up. Then one day, I just went into the bathroom and cut my hair. Partly in frustration of not being able to do anything with it and partly in curiosity of what my natural hair would look like. ****

I BC'ed (big chopped) all my relaxed ends during one lazy weekend on 11/15/09. This is my photo journal detailing my hair journey post-BC &&& since then 100% natural :)
