I am 27 years old , and I live in New Britain CT.
I am currently trying to grow my hair to BSL.
I started getting interested in growing my hair in 2005. My hair was growing really fast, but then all of a sudden it started to breaak off like CRAZY. So I stop trying to make it grow, and just tried to maintain the length that I already had.
But now in 2008, I am back on a mission to grow my hair. I not only want it to be long, but I want it to be thick and healthy like it was when I was child.
In 2007, my hair was just 'shoulder length'. (so in a year it reached to almost APL.)
I know that my hair is growing faster than that, cuz I get new growth so fast, it's just that my hair is breaking off just as fast as it is growing, making it look like I am not achieving length fast enough... but I am trying to stop that from happening.
I am open to any suggestions and tips on how to grow my hair, and keep it healthy.
I am not quite sure what my hair type is.
I just have a couple of pics up right now, but I will be putting some more up really soon.
I will be posting a folder dedicated to each month of the year, so that I can track how my hair is growing from month to month.

UPDATE!!!!
It is now 2009. I was doing so good on growing my hair and keeping it healthy until December of 2008, I guess the winter, and my laziness (lol) was too much on my hair, so it started to break off. I also found myself relaxing my hair too often (which caused my hair to thin). Luckly I was able to get back on track before I lost too much length. My hair is still past my shoulders, but it's really thin now. I will be posting up more pictures, and I am really gonna focus on my hair care this year.
And I have made it my mission to only relax 4 times this year, and to help me do that..... I am gonna realx on the 1st day of every season (WInter, Spring, Summer, Fall)... if I do that... then I know that I will have a good space between relaxers.
