1. Im sorry I have been away; but Im back now!

3. I combed out my loc's. It took me 3 weeks to do it.

4. My hair likes what it likes... right now, it's: henna, water, veggie glycerin, doo gro oil and almond oil. Simple enough right...?

My hair:
my hair can loves protein
my hair must have a good balance of moisture and protein
my hair likes my homemade conditioner and spritz
my hair is not as thick as it appears
my hair puts you in the mind of cotton
my hair has a lot of s shapes strands but my loose s shapes are around the nape areas
my hair gets less shrinkage: i loose about 4 inches due to shrinkage

My decision to let my natural hair represent me was truly due to curiosity.
I must say that since month 16, I have learned and have grown to deeply respect and appreciate my hair and all of it's beauty. On a regular, when I see a natural, I try to go out of my way to acknowledge her hair and it's beauty.
Hair goal for months 25-36:
I strive to have FULL armpit length hair length hair all over stretched. I am going to continue to focus on the health of my hair, using natural homemade products.
I have been wearing semi protective and protective styles since Sept08 and I plan to wear them thru Mar09.

Well, that's all for now. I will continue to make updates, come back and visit me and don't forget to sign in my guest book. Oh, if you have a password, please pm me privately!

This is a work in progress so please excuse the mess... I welcome any and all (tasteful) comments and suggestions. I am really big into homemade recipes so if you have some that you would like to share, please do.
