My decision not to relax anymore happened by accident. When I had my daughter I didn't relax for nearly a year. My stylist told me that you CAN grow out your relaxer WITHOUT losing your relaxed ends...she was right. My last relaxer was in July 2007 and I haven't looked back since.

I chopped on 28th April...there are still a few straight bits in the front but I intend to trim them slowly (I don't like the mushroom look so the front bits come in handy!)

As I don't want to obsess about my hair for a while, I'm in the process of braiding it up, but I am so happy that my hair is finally as nature intended.

I have nothing against relaxers...I would just rather colour my hair than relax it.
