- Well I started my natural journey in my senior year of high school (BC # 1). I loved every minute of it, but 1 year later I permed it again because I wanted something different my second semester of college. During the few months that my hair was permed I was frustrated, my hair was breaking, and I was just tired of it. In August 2002 I made a huge mistake but I learned a big lesson! Let's just say I should have waited a little longer after dying my hair to perm it! All my hair fell off, and that led me to BC # 2.
I've been natural for 6 years now, and I started my locs June 2007. So I've noticed that my hair is not growing as fast as I'd like it to grow. If you have any suggestions or tips, please let me know!
