- My first love in photography was landscapes and nature. I wanted to be able to translate the beauty I saw into photos that I can enjoy for years. Memories can fade, but a great photo will remind you of the incredible view and friends that were there to share it with you. Then my husband got me my first SLR camera and I haven't been able to put it down ever since. I eventually got more more serious and I started taking classes and workshops. Diversity in people got me interested in portraiture and I recently started photographing people. I try to capture the person's essence and uniqueness of personality in a creative way. I want to dig deeper into person's interests, sexuality, and fears. I want to be able to catch a glimpse of that in a photo. I am new to studio lighting, but that also means I have so much to explore. I am proficient with Photoshop and like to enhance my photos to look their best, however I do not change them entirely.
